Biography

Professor S. Thomas NG obtained his PhD from University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, U.K. His Research Interests include Contractor and consultant selection, Delays mitigation, Time/cost relationship, Accuracy of cost estimation, Application of information technology in construction management and economics. His Representative Research / Consultancy Projects include Reinventing the construction industry of Hong Kong for its sustainable development, Case-based reasoning system for subcontractor registration, Balanced scorecard model for subcontractor appraisal, Construction time performance during the changing economic environment, Effectiveness of quality management systems in the construction industry
